The animation is not the best I have ever seen, but I love that these independent filmmakers are telling a story that teaches morals, rather than just trying to sell toys for yet another franchise. The Oneida Indian Nation's Four Directions Prods. created an eight-minute film based on one of its ancient legends, The Raccoon and the Crawfish. The short will have its world premiere on April 18 at the Syracuse International Film Festival.
