The PR Queen from Animation Mentor sent me their Fall ShowCase and "Wowsie Wow" there is some great work on there! I really love the new opening and closer with their little brown mascot.My personal favorites from the reel are... Luke Randall's Basic Foundations test - you REALLY see the character in simple primitives, and the lines of action are gorgeous.
...and Ken Fountain's Advanced Acting test. I love how he really nails the acting behind the conversation and at the same time I think he took the dialog out of the original context. This one is really good!
Dane Stogner's Body Mechanics test not only is really funny, but well-timed. LOVE IT!
I also dig the little bit Chris Clyde did with dialog from "Along Came Polly."
The eye darts, original poses...even the her mouth poses kind of mirror how Jennifer Aniston talks...good stuff there!I look forward to seeing the animated shorts in their entirety!
