Night at The Museum

I know I am a bit behind on this movie, but I finally saw it and OMG this is the best movie ever!!

I have this thing lately with kids movies being made today. The parents are always idiots and the kids have to save them. This movie is different. Granted, Ben Stiller's character is kind of an idiot, but he wins over his son in the end in a really endearing and heroic way without being overly saccharin. The T-Rex had me giggling like a little girl and by the end of the movie I wanted my own "Rex-Y" as a pet. Actually, the whole movie was endearing while still holding true to today's sarcasm.

Mickey Rooney's character is just plain hilarious with all of his nonsense. Atilla the Hun had my sides aching from laughing so hard. Steve Coogan as Octavious and Owen Wilson as Jedediah reminded me of Kevin Pollak and Rick Overton in Willow as the tiny men who were always squabbling and were also very funny.

The best part when dealing with the little army men was, Night at the Museum kept scale in mind at all times and it made for some really funny bits when they tried to ambush a van or take down Ben Stiller's character.

Anyways, if you missed this film like me - go rent it. It's so worth it! Or gimme a jingle and I will screen it my house for ya - it's that good!
