Anyone who reads this blog knows I love Pixar's storytelling. I have favorites, but for me - every single one of their films has created that "hold-your-breath-lump-in-your throat" moment lacking in most animated films (no matter what the medium) for years.
Well, now I have discovered another talent the folks at Pixar have. They are masters at showing you something and getting you excited about it when they got nuttin' to show. The very idea that this story from Pixar will the last that Joe Ranft has contributed to is so sad. And yet, this little robot is so damn cute.
